Giulio Castelli is an Assistant Professor of Agricultural Hydraulics and Watershed Protection at the Department of Agriculture, Food, Environment and Forestry (DAGRI), University of Florence - Water Harvesting Lab. His research focuses on water resources management, water harvesting and irrigation systems, with particular attention to participatory approaches and co-creation in water management and hydrology. He is involved in several research projects across the Mediterranean region, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Central and South America. He holds a PhD in Sustainable Management of Agricultural, Forestry, and Food Resources from the University of Florence (2018).
